29 Beautiful trees all representing something of our community.
Lots of groups came to visit, to visit their own trees and to admire the scope of all the others.
There was a huge cake / produce stall which had to be replenished for day two.
There was a big raffle to take part in and various stalls selling novelties etc.
As part of the tree festival and Fayre, a Christmas Quiz took place. Closing date 12th Jan. There were several with all correct answers so we had to draw a winner.
The winner is Mal Smith. Congratulations to her and the other correct entrants and thanks to all who took part. Almost £100 was raised for church funds. Joan
The Church Choir came to sing carols on the Saturday afternoon which set the scene beautifully.
Santa’s Elves were busy taking children down to Santa’s beautifully decorated grotto, to see the jolly old man, crafty things were made to take home.
Refreshments available both days were very welcome.
A lot of hard work went into this event, about £660 was raised. Thanks to all who supported in any way.
